Have you been to Disney World ? What's your favorite things about it ? Best memories of being there ?
I have been twice, both within the last several years. I never had the desire to go but decided to try it and boy…was I amazed. I had thought it was just some big amusement park for kids, mainly. Wow… I love Animal Kingdom Lodge (the theme park is great, too). But that hotel is gorgeous and brilliantly decorated to make you feel like you're in Africa…surrounded by all of the African animals outside of your hotel room. There were giraffe and all sorts of animals right where you could see them from your balcony. There's a restaurant (Boma-Flavors of Africa) and the food and atmosphere is just so authentic and cozy. The pool is beautiful. Love it…you gotta visit this place.
Kenner…sorry 'bout your husband's passing. That is so sad but it's good that you have such good memories of him and the time you did have together. Take care…
Oh, I know! Walt Disney World is the most incredible place! I went once when I was 11, back in 1997 and I don't really remember much from the experience. In 2005, my boyfriend and I started seeing all commercials for the Happiest Celebration on Earth and he suggested we go. We booked a trip and I planned it all out. We stayed at Disney's Polynesian Resort and had the time of our lives! I agree, Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is beautiful! My little sister stayed there once a couple years ago and loved it. We were thinking about staying there but decided to splurge for Disney's Polynesian Resort. It's absolutely gorgeous! It's like a tropical rainforest in the lobby. My favorite part was that our room has the most wonderfull view of Cinderella Castle across the Seven Seas Lagoon.
I love EVERYTHING about Walt Disney World. I became obsessed with it after that trip. We went last summer, too, and hopefully we'll be going back in July. I won't go for any less than 10 days, now that I know all that Walt Disney World has to offer. We like to book the Platinum Package so everything's included. Ah, I can't wait to go back! I miss it so much! I get so excited whenever I see the commercials on TV, now.
Mmmmm… I want some food from Walt Disney World. Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is really beautiful! I visited it for the first time this past summer when my boyfriend and I had breakfast at Boma – Flavors of Africa. It's a nice restaurant and the food was great considering it was a buffet and we didn't have an early reservation. Oh, and I loved the West African Frunch juice! I had quite a few glasses.
Anyway, yeah, Walt Disney World is any amazing place!!!

i have been to magic kingdom.. I thought it was all right for first for the first time.. its much more designed for kids.. but they have a lot of creative stuff there…some amazing big screens(350 view) and also the space mountain ride. If you want me to pick some of the best then it wud be the space mountain ride, the parades and the ghost palace.

Went there in 99' with my hubby and 3 kids. We had a wonderful time! Our youngest child is disabled, so a portion of the time I spent sitting with her while my hubby and 2 other kids enjoyed the rides. The rides we did go on together as a family were accomodated for my youngest! It is a beautiful place to go with family if you can afford it. My hubby was awarded this trip by his employer, so we lucked out in the cost department. We stayed at the Grand Floridian Hotel and truly enjoyed it. Spent a week there…Epcot was one of the most memorable because we watched the laser light show that they do every night, but most definately,; the most memorable thing was that we spent that time together as a family. My hubby passed away a 1.5 yr ago from a form of terminal cancer after 20 yrs of marriage. That time together will never be forgotten!!
